Nebulosa de emisi\u00f3n muy tenue entre las constelaciones de Cefeo y Lagarto. Est\u00e1 situada a unos 11.000 a.l de nosotros y tiene un tama\u00f1o de m\u00e1s de 250 a.l. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Esta nebulosa contiene dos estrellas Wolf-Rayet: WR 153ab cerca de la estructura de la \u00abpared\u00bb en la cabeza del le\u00f3n y WR 152 en la parte de la nebulosa dominada por el azul. Las estrellas Wolf-Rayet son estrellas muy grandes, brillantes y calientes con fuertes vientos solares. Estos vientos son tan fuertes que expulsan una gran cantidad de masa de las estrellas, algo as\u00ed como 10 masas solares por mill\u00f3n de a\u00f1os. La naturaleza extrema de las estrellas Wolf-Rayet siempre domina las regiones cercanas y aligera el \u00e1rea circundante.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
