Los tr\u00e1nsitos de los sat\u00e9lites jovianos son un fen\u00f3meno bastante frecuente pero no por ello deja de sorprendernos cuando lo observamos a trav\u00e9s de un telescopio. La nitidez de la sombra de \u00cdo sobre J\u00fapiter queda patente en esta fotograf\u00eda que muestra un eclipse m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de nuestro planeta.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u00cdo es el sat\u00e9lite galileano m\u00e1s cercano a J\u00fapiter y fue descubierto por Galileo Galilei en 1610.  Es el objeto geol\u00f3gicamente m\u00e1s activo de nuestro sistema solar, debido a las enormes fuerzas de atracci\u00f3n gravitatoria o marea que recibe por parte de J\u00fapiter. Grandes volcanes expulsan toneladas de \u00f3xido de azufre sobre su superficie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

 Transits of Jovian satellites are fairly common but no longer surprising when viewed through a telescope.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The sharpness of the shadow of Io over Jupiter is evident in this photograph showing an eclipse beyond our planet. Galilean moon Io is closest to Jupiter and was discovered by Galileo Galilei in 1610. It is the most geologically active object in our solar system, because of the huge gravitational forces or tidal receives from Jupiter. Large volcanoes expel tons of sulfur oxide on its surface.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
