El cr\u00e1ter Clavius es el tercer crater m\u00e1s grande del lado visible de la Luna (230 km de di\u00e1metro) . Dentro de \u00e9l encontramos cinco cr\u00e1teres alineados en arco.<\/p>\n

Catalogado con el n\u00famero 9 en la famosa lista Lunar 100, no pasa desapercibido, sobre todo durante la fase de cuarto creciente en la que me encontraba cuando lo fotografi\u00e9. Lo primero que llama la atenci\u00f3n de Clavius es que no tiene forma redonda, m\u00e1s bien es ovalado, pero se trata de una ilusi\u00f3n \u00f3ptica. Su tama\u00f1o es tan grande que la curvatura de la Luna hace que adopte esta curiosa forma ante nuestros ojos. Esto es patente en los d\u00edas de amanecer lunar en esta regi\u00f3n cuando podemos apreciar que el centro propio del cr\u00e1ter est\u00e1 m\u00e1s elevado que sus bordes a pesar que las paredes de \u00e9stos tienen una altura de unos 3500 metros.<\/p>\n

Debemos aprovechar la fase creciente para observarlo en su m\u00e1xima expresi\u00f3n ya que en fase de luna llena casi pasa desapercibido a pesar de su gran tama\u00f1o.<\/p>\n

Para la obtenci\u00f3n de la fotograf\u00eda coloqu\u00e9 la c\u00e1mara DMK21 sobre el ocular Hyperion de 5mm y la lente Barlow VIP Baader x2. Un seeing relativamente bueno ayud\u00f3 a poder llevar mi Newton 150\/750 a su l\u00edmite de resoluci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

The crater Clavius \u200b\u200bis the third largest crater in the visible side of the Moon (230 km in diameter). Within it are five craters aligned like a big \u00abC\u00bb.
\nListed with the number 9 on the famous Lunar 100 list, does not go unnoticed, especially during the first quarter phase where I was when I photographed it. The first thing that catches the attention of Clavius \u200b\u200bis not round, but rather oval, but it’s an optical illusion. Its size is so large that the curvature of the Moon makes this curious take shape before our eyes. This is evident in the days of lunar sunrise in this region when we see that the center of the crater itself is higher than the edges although these walls have a height of about 3500 meters.<\/p>\n

We must seize the growing phase to observe at its best since full moon in almost goes unnoticed despite its large size.<\/p>\n

To obtain this photography y placed my DMK21 camera \u00a0over the eyepiece 5mm Hyperion and Baader VIP Barlow lens x2. A relatively good seeing helped to bring my Newton 150\/750 to its limit of resolution.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
