El cúmulo de Hércules es el más importante de los cúmulos globulares observable desde el hemisferio norte.  Situado a unos 25100 a.l de nosotros este inmenso cúmulo está formado por más de medio millón de componentes.

Fácilmente observable incluso con telescopios pequeños su belleza se hace patente a partir de 6″ de diámetro. Con telescopios de 12″ podemos apreciar su estructura de patas de araña y con 16″ incluso estructuras centrales.

The Hercules cluster is the largest globular clusters observable from the northern hemisphere. Located about 25100 to us this immense cluster consists of more than half a million components.

Easily observable even with small telescopes its beauty is evident from 6 «diameter. With telescopes of 12» we can see the structure of spider legs and 16 «even central structures.
